Prior to moving to the USA, I’ve had a successful musical career. My band, “The four
Windows”, performed on countless stages and even in some TV shows. In 1981, EMI offered
us a record contract and we produced an album and several singles. One of my compositions,
“Lonely Seagull”, became an instrumental hit in Europe. Some of my other tunes were featured
in some Movies and Videos.
I’m originally from the Principality of Liechtenstein, but I grew up in Switzerland and France. In 1987 I
decided I had enough of the cold Swiss winters and moved to sunny Florida.
I’ve always loved to paint, in spite of being color blind and not having had any artistic education, but when
a flooding of my storage room destroid most of my paintings in 1983,
I quit painting for the next 20 years. I began again in 2003, only because a dear friend of mine begged me
to paint her old father, who was in his nineties. You can see “Ernest” in my Paintings gallery. Since then I
have produced a number of new paintings, some of which you can see on this website. One of my
personal favorites is “The Loss”, an old man crying over losing a loved one. One of my latest paintings are
“Faceless Retirement” and “Nuns in Winter”.
