Wolfgang working in his Atelier
Prior to moving to the USA, I’ve had a successful musical career. My band, “The four Windows”,  performed on countless stages and even in some TV shows. In 1981, EMI offered us a record contract and we produced an album and several singles. One of my compositions, “Lonely Seagull”, became an instrumental hit in Europe. Some of my other tunes were featured in some Movies and Videos.
Wolfgang and The four Windows
I’m originally from the Principality of Liechtenstein, but grew up mostly in Switzerland and France. In 1987 I had enough of the cold  winters and moved to sunny Florida, where 65F is considered frrrreeezzzing.  I’ve always loved to paint, in spite of being color blind and lacking any artistic education, but when a flooding in 1983 destroyed most of my pictures, I quit painting for the next 20 years. I only began painting again in 2003, when a dear friend of mine begged me to paint her old father, who at the time was in his nineties. You can see “Ernest” under ‘Paintings’. Since then I have produced a number of new paintings, some of which are on this website. One of my personal favorites is “The Loss”, a crying old man, and “Faceless Retirement”. To the right you can see the only abstract painting I’ve ever done. Just for good measure. My lasted passion is photography. You can see some in “My Photos” on the menu.
